Sorry, I know this one is on the cheesier side!
I also have a new card for sale in my Etsy shop. I’d like to say it’s inspired by the waves near our new home in Florida, but we’re inland (Orlando). I love Orlando, though, as it turns out!
And I wanted to announce that in addition to the romance novella for 831 Stories, I’m also working on an illustrated book about mermaids (!!). Many thanks to the wonderful Makenna Goodman at Timber Press for, among other things, asking if I wanted to expand on that print in my Etsy shop. (Go read her new novel!) Stay tuned!

Re: the shoes, I should possibly clarify that I was coming in for a second pair of shoes in two months, since the first was already wearing away on the sole in one part. I had briefly deviated from my preferred brand of Asics, although the Brooks were fine and I guess I could have kept wearing them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Love all shoes
Exactly what is cheesy about this, lady? (I remember railing in class about irony as the murderer of emotion and sincerity, and I *think* you dutifully wrote it down.) I love the idea of finding out when the center is worn down as metaphor. It's more descriptive than burnout, no? 'My center is worn down.' Been there, uff. xo
