(The song “Shorty’s Ark,” by Will Oldham [a.k.a. Bonnie “Prince” Billy] and Matt Sweeney — lyric video here — appeared on their 2021 album Superwolves. In 2023, Oldham and the artist Lori Damiano adapted the song into a kids’ book, also called “Shorty’s Ark.” We love them both. )
