People who leave NY take *years* to admit it (to themselves, and to others). Congrats!! (secretly jealous).

Ha! Thank you

This flew by! Do not apologize for a good juicy issue.

Congrats to Tom on the gig!!

Loving the trams from the parking lot reminded me of when I took James to the anthropology museum in Mexico City and his favorite part all the millions of exhibits was the tiny fish in the fountain in the atrium.

Edith Zimmerman's avatar

I get it WRT the fish....

Also, thank you! And Tom thanks you, too.

Thank you - that was fantastic! Grew up in SoCal going to Disneyland all the time. Now I wouldn't set foot there but fascinated by Disney adults.

Holy shit. I had never read that before. It's incredible.

"Not to Scale" is a good alternative title for your work, if you ever sell out on Drawing Links!

I made it to the bottom having a great ride getting there. I felt like I was there with you all.

Florida, despite or maybe because of all its insanity, is a magical place. I have not ruled out being a salt life degenerate there at the end of my days. Excited for your new adventure!

Louise Hornor's avatar

I'm so glad you're enchanted by Florida! I have a friend who moved there and furnished her entire house by going to estate sales. Lots of elderly folks retire there and buy all new furniture, which only gets used for a few years. She got gorgeous, gorgeous pieces at rock bottom prices!

Edith Zimmerman's avatar

I've been trying to do a bit of this myself!

Perfectly encapsulates the excitement/anxiety/dread/fun of moving across state lines

Thank you, Carol!

Mine cuts off after fewer than 44 panels --- how do I find the long version?

(Your work is like cool water going down to where it's needed, flowing so easily.

I hear that the birds in Fla this time of year are all kinds of wonderful.

The Audobon Society of Florida has its Center for Birds of Prey which houses rehabbed raptors in Maitland which is in the Orlando area. I've personally never been but I've heard it's amazing

Edith Zimmerman's avatar

I pass a "<--- Birds of Prey Center" sign on my way to the girls' school; it's been intriguing, and now I think we have to go!

Katie's avatar

I'm on their email list. They just reopened and also have spring break day camps for kids!

Such beautiful storytelling! All the best in this new adventure!
