Hi, I’m Edith, and this is a newsletter with comics and links. If you’d like to be a paying subscriber (and receive two more installments of this newsletter each week), I’d be delighted! I hope to sustain myself with this newsletter eventually. Subscriptions cost $40 a year or $5 a month, and you can sign up here, or by clicking the button below. (Some tantalizing subscriber-only recent posts have been “Mystery Plant” and “No-Shampoo Experiment,” excerpts from which I’m pasting below today’s comic.) Thanks for reading, and please feel free to reply to this email!
My “High Fidelity” review: Great. The ending was satisfying in its unsatisfactoriness. Fantastic casting. It started fun and relatable (with the main character being rejected and crushed) and then it just kept taking weirder and more human turns. So many characters felt like real people, and each time we saw them onscreen, it felt like glimpsing the tips of their own private icebergs. The show was also funny! I loved it!
