I have an exact version of that lamp. Found it in a thrift in Athens, GA. It's my sewing lamp. I wish it had magical powers to make my hateful Janome sewing machine work. No hope of it helping to bring in big bucks, but your cover for Strawberry Season draws a regular Wow &, "Reserve a copy for me." XO, MAR

“The Ice Needle”

Edith Zimmerman's avatar

What does it mean??

Ok is that what it means in Swedish?

I almost said “Ikean”

lol same thing, basically. IKEA has created a product name by smashing two Swedish words together. As the design appears to draw no inspiration from the phenomenon of “needle ice” or an icicle, I’m guessing they just thought it sounded cool (pun intended).
