Snake

While I was doing this, the snake turned its head toward me. After a moment, it began to speak. In English.

“Come closer,” it said, “I have a ssstory to tell you.”

“Um … okay!” I said, and so I did. Here is what the snake said to me.

That was the end of the snake’s story, but I took a hint and offered him a home in my bun.
