When my daughter was little she had a dress with a picture of a rabbit painted on the front. One night I told her a story to pull her into sleep about the adventures of a rabbit—- who eventually jumped onto a dress. I wrote it out the next day & illustrated it using pen & ink and she colored the pictures). The other day I found the little stapled book and the title was creepy, “The Day The Rabbit Jumped Into A Dress”. Oh well it was fun at the time. A thing of the moment. ♥️
There is so much love in your stories, thank you for "journaling in public"! Btw, even more so if you are monetizing on it - that just shows that maybe it's possible to "be enough" but also to get by - being ourselves... so there's a lot to learn from a strong 21st century woman entrepreneur and I'm all up for it. :)
I love the thought of a mermaid story without a plot! It's perfect for bedtime...endless exposition. You can tell this story often, just narrating the mermaid's day. Kind of like real life.
