Knitting is a practical sort of magic. New techniques always make me go "wait that actually worked? Sorcery!" so yay to patterns that celebrate that.

What a great pattern! Magic Loop is the best. I just finished a sweater (Forbes) that had a really cute cast-on and bind-off I hadn't used before. It really does seem like magic sometimes.
