I did what I thought was a really nice drawing of a family member's iguana, sent it to them and they did the SAME thing! "Yeah, he's great" - nothing about the drawing. I was going to frame it and give it to them as a gift but I just filed it after that. I feel like a pouty child about it, so seeing this was really reassuring (that I'm not alone).

i made a beautiful baby quilt for my niece but she never acknowledged it! i finally resorted to asking her mom if she had received it. She said yes, but she never sent a thank you note or email. She just had any baby and iām not making another quilt.
reminds me of when my parents greeted me with " Wasn't Kartherina Mueller wonderful" after I starred as King Winter in the second grade Play Change of the Seasons. Mueller was Spring. I hated them for it and her. Even 75 years later. Well. sort of.
